Converting more than page one of a statement used to mean choosing a plan. Now there are three ways to pay: for the pages of one statement, for a pack of pages that never renews, or for a plan by the month or the year. Each is priced on the pricing page.
Page one is still free
Drop a statement on the home page and page one comes back as a spreadsheet, with every balance on it checked. There is no email to give and no card. If page one comes out right, the rest of the statement comes out the same way.
The pages of one statement
Under the preview, a button offers to convert the whole statement and says what that costs. Type your email address and you go straight to Stripe's payment page. There is no password to choose and no email to wait for first.
- You pay for the statement's own pages, with a small minimum so the card fees do not swallow a short statement.
- When a whole pack costs no more than the statement's pages, the button offers the pack instead. The pages the statement does not use stay in your account.
- If your account already has some pages, the button buys only the ones you are short.
Once you have paid, drop the statement again on the page Stripe sends you back to. The preview's copy was deleted as soon as page one was shown, so the whole statement is uploaded once more.
If the address you type already has an account, we email it a sign-in link instead, which brings you back to the same checkout, signed in.
Page packs
A pack is a number of pages bought once. Nothing renews, and the pages do not run out at the end of the month. The Pages tab on the pricing page lists the packs.
You can use a pack with a plan or without one. With a plan, its own pages are spent first and the pack's after them, so a pack is a way to see a busy month out without moving to a bigger plan. With several packs, the one that expires first is spent first.
Plans
A plan gives you a number of pages every month. Used in full, they cost less a page than any pack. An annual plan costs less than twelve months of the monthly one, and gives you the whole year's pages at once. You can move up or down from your account, and cancel with Manage billing on your plan page. The period you have already paid for runs to its end.
Which one to choose
- One statement, now and then: pay for its pages from the preview.
- A few statements a year, at no set time: a page pack.
- Statements every month: a plan, and an annual one if you know you will keep going.
What stays the same
- Going over is never charged. A statement you do not have the pages for is refused, with the reason, and you choose what to do next.
- A statement that cannot be converted gives its pages back.
- You pay by card on Stripe's own page, and we never see your card number.
- The PDF is deleted when its conversion finishes. The privacy policy says how long the spreadsheet is kept.
