Terms of service

BankPDFtoXLS converts bank-statement PDFs into structured spreadsheets. By using it you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, do not use the service.

Upload only documents you have the right to process. You keep all rights to what you upload and to the converted output. Our privacy policy describes how long we hold them: we delete statements when their conversion in your account finishes and results 1 hour after completion, so download your results promptly. If you drop a statement in before you sign up, and do not sign in within 1 hour, we delete it and what we read from it.

Our conversion is automated, and banks change their statement formats. We provide the output as-is: check the converted figures against your statement before you rely on them for accounting, tax, or any other decision. If a conversion fails, we return the page budget it used to you.

We bill paid plans through Stripe on a recurring basis, and each plan grants a page budget per billing period. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation stops future charges and your plan runs to the end of the paid period. A price change never applies mid-period — it takes effect at a renewal.

Your new account has a free trial of 15 pages, once for each email address, with no card. On the trial, a statement uses at most 5 pages, and never more than your trial has left: we convert its first pages up to that limit. The trial does not renew. It ends when you start a plan, and we do not carry over the pages left on it.

Before you sign up, we convert up to the first 5 pages of a statement you drop in, and show you its first page. It uses no pages until you sign in and we add it to your account. Then your free trial or your plan pays for it, as for any statement you upload. If you have no pages left, it waits for a plan, and we delete it if no plan starts within 1 hour of your sign-in.

Do not use our service to process documents unlawfully, probe or overload our infrastructure, resell conversions in bulk without an agreement, or attempt to reverse-engineer our conversion engine. We may suspend or close accounts that do.

To the maximum extent the law allows, we provide the service without warranty and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

We may update these terms; we will note material changes here with a new effective date, and if you continue to use the service after that date, you accept the updated terms.
